Referring organisations - support materials for using the NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS)

The page provides access to various materials to help referring users understand functionality and processes within the NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS).

All patient information displayed in the support materials are fictional.

The support materials detailed on this page have been created using simulated environments which mirrors web-based e-RS.

Please be aware that we are currently updating our materials to reflect the changes that were introduced in our March release.

Some videos do not show indicative treatment wait data as this information is missing on services in the e-RS training environment.

Any guides using integrated GP systems should be requested from the specific system supplier.

Getting started
