Citizen health

The metrics in this domain provide information on the utilisation of citizen-facing national health and care digital products and services, maintained by NHS Digital.

Currently, metrics are reported for:

Patient demographics

The metrics in this domain demonstrate the completeness of data within key fields that are frequently used to find a patient's record and for the NHS to contact patients. Currently, metrics are reported for the Personal Demographics Service (PDS)

Staff authentication

These metrics show the uptake of authentication services that enable health and care staff to access services and systems that support their work. Currently, metrics are reported for the Care Identity Service application and Care Identity Management

Vaccinations service

The metrics in this domain demonstrate citizen interaction with the online COVID-19 vaccinations National Booking Service

Dashboard refresh

The dashboard is refreshed once a month, typically on the third Thursday of each month.

How recent this data is

Due the preparation and validation of data that occurs in advance of any release, at the point of the monthly refresh, there is a 2 week lag to the data.

The start of the reporting period varies for each product and service. The start dates are set out below.
