The Tracking Database provided:
- performance management, allowing projects to monitored
- business process support
- programme support, including risk and issues management and contract change control
- inventory, which listed information about NHS organisations and suppliers
- reporting, provided a set of reports that relate to each of the functional areas described above
In addition, the system provided programme and project support to GP practices, as well as day-to-day operational support.
