SCCI2033: UK Assisted Reproductive Treatments (ART) Data Set

Update April 2018: Please note that assurance of this information standard has now recommenced, with a scheduled approval date of September 2018.

The Standardisation Committee for Care Information (SCCI) issued an Advance Notification for this proposed information standard on 5 October 2016. This Advance Notification proposed that the standard would be implemented from January 2017.

On 28 February 2017 SCCI issued an update which stated that progression of the data set through assurance had been delayed and that the timescales stated in the Advance Notification were no longer valid.

As of 5 October 2017 the progression of the data set as a national information standard is still delayed; on this basis, the Data Coordination Board (DCB) is formally withdrawing the published Advance Notification but will continue to work with the developers of the data set, the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), to assure the development of the standard.
