Access to NWRS and registering

Access to NWRS is now available through the Strategic Data Collection Service (SDCS). 

If you do not have access to the service or cannot see the NWRS collection when you log in, please email us with the following details:

• first name and last name 
• email address (a personal NHS or healthcare service email address and not a generic/group mailbox or Hotmail / Gmail, for example).
• ODS codes for the organisations you want access to (GP and/or PCN) 
• confirmation that either your practice manager, a practice partner, or PCN equivalent approves your request. This can simply be an email confirmation in an attachment.

1. You will receive an automated email.

2. Follow the link provided to SDCS.

3. Click sign in.

4. When you reach the single sign on page select Register and create a new password.

5, Check you can see NWRS listed as a collection.  

6. You will also be able to see any existing data for your organisation(s) and you can update it. 

1. Go to the ODS Data Search and Export (DSE) service. 

2. You can filer on organisation type and then then type in the first few characters of the organisation’s name.

3. If you need to request a new ODS code complete the ODS code request form.  

To reset your SDCS password go to the SDCS home page.

Click sign in. 

On the single sign in page click forgotten details? and follow the instructions.  

We recommend that every organisation should have at least 2 users to ensure you receive our communications updates and to make sure there is someone in your organisation who can make updates. 

If a member of staff leaves your organisation please let us know so we can disable their account. 

If a member of staff  has left your organisation please email us with the wording disable NWRS account in the subject heading. Please provide the name and email address of the account you want to disable.
