Scope of the collection

Service providers and organisations that provide specialist secondary mental health and/or learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum including

  • NHS mental health trusts.
  • NHS learning disabilities trusts.
  • Independent sector providers.
  • Qualified providers offering specialist secondary mental health, learning disabilities or autism spectrum disorder services.
  • Community providers of mental health, learning disabilities or autism spectrum disorder services for children.

Legal basis for the collection

Section 259 of the Health and Social Care Act.

Collection

Local data collection started on 1 January 2016. A central data submission to the Bureau Service Portal started on 1 January 2016.
