Setting up test data in our path to live environments

To test your software with our path to live environments, you might need some test data.

This page explains your options.

For API testing we have set up standard test data for you to use, so that you do not have to set up your own test data. For example, this includes the PDS Compliance pack.

To see if standard test data is available for your testing, see the "testing and environments" section within the relevant API specification in our API and integration catalogue. 

You can use our Test Data Self Service Portal (TDSSP) to set up test data yourself.

TDSSP is now available on the internet and, indirectly, on the Health and Social Care Network (HSCN) - it used to be HSCN only.

The URL for TDSSP is http://testdatacloud.co.uk:8080/ords/apex-prod/f?p=159:LOGIN but to access it we need to create login credentials for you.

To get access to TDSSP:

• contact us at [email protected] to get a username and password

• let us know the data domain you need access to: PDS, EPS, or both. Having access to PDS automatically gives you access to all the PDS templates

The PDS Compliance pack might be overkill for your needs. If so, consider our PDS Standard pack which covers a mixed set of demographic content.
