What’s new

We are introducing a new feature for users who have lost access to their NHS login. When a user provides their details (Name, NHS Number, DOB, and Postcode), we will verify if an NHS login already exists. If it does, the user will have the option to create a new login and proceed to the next step (P9). During this process, we will inform the user about the status of existing logins, and notifications will be sent via email. After successfully completing P9 and logging in, the user’s new NHS login will be updated with information from previous logins, which will then be deleted. This new process will assist users who have forgotten their password and no longer have access to the email address associated with their old NHS account. It will enable users to replace an old account with a new one.

What’s new

The aim of the Qualtrics survey is to capture user feedback for users who to decide to skip setting up a Passkey to understand the reasons why i.e. is it due to a lack of understanding, time constraints or something else. We are aiming to get the survey completed by 250 individuals and then we plan to switch the survey off and analyse the feedback.

What's new

We are introducing new functionality into the Prove Your Identity (PYI) journey to help users submit clearer documentation, specifically addressing issues with blurry images. 

Currently, users upload their document images, which are only reviewed later by the ID Checking Team having been rejected by Mitek. If an image is too blurry, it is rejected at that stage, and the user is notified via email. 

With this update, users will receive real-time feedback immediately after uploading an image. If the image is detected as too blurry, they will be prompted to upload a clearer version before proceeding. 

We expect this change to significantly reduce the number of blurry image submissions. This is the first real-time intervention of its kind in the PYI process. Looking ahead, we plan to introduce similar functionality to detect and address issues with glare in uploaded images, which also lead to rejections during manual review.
