Care Identity Management

Part of the Care Identity Service, Care Identity Management is a new system that allows Registration Authority users to manage access to patient data.

Care Identity Management is replacing the legacy Care Identity Service application, to meet modern security, adaptability and design standards.

Can I use this service?

Registration Authority managers and agents can use Care Identity Management for most common tasks.

Unlockers (local smartcard administrators) can complete their full role in the service.

Sponsors can perform most tasks in Care Identity Management, including viewing profiles and requests, assigning and changing positions, and unlocking smartcards. The old Care Identity Service application is still available but is being retired in 2024.
