NHS Identity Agent

An essential component that must be downloaded and run on every device that accesses Spine services via a Care Identity Service smartcard

NHS Credential Management

Credential Management is a required component for applications that use CIS2 authentication. This should now be installed on all devices that will use the Care Identity Service to authenticate.

CIS Diagnostic Tool

Information on a tool designed to help technical support users get information about a user's computer, to help with in support diagnostics.

Gemalto and Oberthur middleware

All devices running Identity Agent need Gemalto middleware installed. Registration Authority users managing smartcards in Care Identity Management or the Care Identity Service application also need to install Oberthur middleware.
