NHS Notify MESH
Send messages to patients and the public with NHS Notify using MESH.
Overview
Use this integration to send messages with NHS Notify (opens in a new tab) by using Message Exchange for Social care and Health (MESH).
How it works
- NHSE organisations and services use their MESH mailbox to make requests to NHS Notify to send messages to their recipients. Learn how to make a request to NHS Notify MESH.
- NHS Notify sends a confirmation message to the organisations or service's MESH mailbox that is has received the request.
- NHS Notify starts sending messages to recipients based on the routing plan (opens in a new tab) included in the request.
- The organisation or service is sent daily reports to their MESH mailbox that tells them what messages that have completed the previous day.
Who can use this integration
NHS Notify MESH is suited for NHS England organisations and services that:
- are already using MESH
- have limited developer or technical capacity

If you do not want to use MESH, you can also integrate with NHS Notify API.
