Usually, this designation indicates that the statistics are under development and that we are seeking user feedback to help us evaluate their suitability and quality. However, CCAS has now ceased operations and although there may be a further release of figures for the April-June 2021 quarter, no further development of the methodology will be undertaken. The experimental statistics designation should not be taken to indicate that the statistics are of poor quality, but there are nonetheless a number of data quality considerations that affect the levels of confidence that may be bestowed upon the figures and users are advised to consult the Data Sources and Quality section of this release.
