1.6.ii Five-year survival from all cancers in children (formerly indicator 1.6.iii)

Summary

A measure of the proportion of children diagnosed with any type of cancer in a year who are still alive five years after diagnosis.

This indicator attempts to capture the success of the NHS in preventing children from dying once they have been diagnosed with any type of cancer.
