Local Authorities in England measure children in mainstream state-maintained schools during the school year. The statistical reports  contain analyses of Body Mass Index (BMI) classification rates by age, sex and ethnicity as well as geographic analyses.

Note that, due to COVID-19 disruptions, data for the 2020/21 school year is reported at national and regional level only.
