How we use the information (processing activities)

To get a user account to access the system, users need to submit their name, email address and organisation via our registration form. Registration to the NWRS allows users to submit data for the workforce Minimum Data Set (wMDS). User email addresses are used by NHS Digital to contact account holders regarding extraction deadlines and may also be shared with primary care leads at stakeholder organisations, such as NHS England and Improvement and CCGs, for the purposes of communicating about regional data quality improvement initiatives. Internet Protocol (IP) address information and website cookies are captured as part of the functioning of the system, to ensure it delivers the correct functionality for the individual user.
