Integrated Urgent Care Aggregate Data Collection (IUC ADC) and Mental Health Helplines

Data Provision Notice to require the submission of data from NHS 111 service providers, to enable the national monitoring of service performance.

Overview

The data to be collected under this Notice relates to the performance of NHS 111 service providers. The data will be used to help identify challenges around optimising patient access to clinical advice and high-quality treatment to a common standard.

From April 2024, with the introduction of a national mental health IVR option on NHS 111, eleven of the monthly data items1 will also be collected from service providers who handle 111 calls following a MH IVR selection.

The collection is used to monitor the Integrated Urgent Care service to identify challenges around optimising patient access to clinical advice and high-quality treatment to a common standard. The IUC ADC also acts as a vehicle to monitor performance against IUC KPIs. Overall benefits are therefore around improving patients’ experience, care quality and outcomes.
