Exceptions and rejections cause pain and frustration for patients and practice staff. We work with Primary Care Support England (PCSE) and GP practices to understand reasons for exceptions and design ways to stop this happening before the registration reaches your practice. Registrations that come through our service are 50% less likely to go to exception.

Everyone should be able to register with a GP surgery. We work with patient groups and charitable organisations to reduce barriers to registering and make sure the service meets their needs. The service can be accessed from the NHS App or the NHS website, and a matching paper form is available for anyone that needs it.
