NIR technical conformance and connections
This page provides the official register of software suppliers and end user organisations that have integrated with the National Imaging Registry (NIR) API.
Integration is a two-step process: the supplier must first achieve technical conformance and a connection agreement for their software products, after which suppliers and end user organisations must organise integration testing of that product against the care providers local architecture and governance requirements.
Technically conformant suppliers
The suppliers listed below have been granted a Technical Conformance Certificate by NHS England.
This certification confirms that we have received the relevant deliverables and evidence necessary to support the product's technical interfaces and functionality. This evidence is sufficient to prove that the required standard for the interfaces and functions of the NIR API has been successfully achieved for the listed product types.

Important notice regarding technical conformance
Please note that the granting of a Technical Conformance Certificate by NHS England relates strictly to interoperability. It does not result in a transfer of risk to NHS England in respect of any part of the wider services.
It remains the absolute responsibility of the implementer of the product to satisfy all operational, security, and clinical governance requirements that are not directly related to the specific interoperability standards certified.
Active connection agreements
While technical conformance validates a product's capability, a formal Connection Agreement is required to actively connect to the live NIR API and for care providers to start testing their integrations for their chosen supplier products. Care providers must complete their own assurance in parallel to be able to promote connections from INT to PROD environments.
