Prescribed Specialised Services (PSO) Tool 2018/19

The Prescribed Specialised Services 2018/19 Operational Tool, along with supporting documentation, can be downloaded here. This tool implements the NHS England Identification Rules that are used in 2018/19. To note, these are the same rules that were used in 2017/18.

This product contains the same Identification Rules that were used in the PSO 2017/18 Tool, but has been updated for user functionality in line with that available in the latest PSP Tool (Prescribed Specialised Services 2019/20 Planning Tool, published November 2018).

PSO 1819 Tool Prescribed Services Guide to Identification Rules - this workbook provides guidance on understanding the details of the code sets and associated logic used in the derivation of the PS flags, as generated by the product.

PSO 1819 Operational Tool sample data and expected results - the sample data folder contains both Admitted Patient Care (APC) and Non-Admitted Consultations (NAC) data for testing purposes. It also includes the expected results in files, as generated by the Tool.
