This roadmap outlines the high-level objectives we are working on and what we are planning to deliver to the National Care Records Service (NCRS) in the next few months.

Expanded access to patient information by piloting GP Connect 'Access Documents' with two ambulance services and GP practices across selected Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).
Completed a major infrastructure migration to provide a more resilient, secure and scalable foundation for future service enhancements.

Continuing to strengthen the National Care Records Service platform through enhancements to performance, security and scalability.
Delivering new role-based clinical views to provide healthcare professionals with faster access to the information most relevant to their care setting and workflow.
Streamlining the user experience through targeted usability improvements that reduce effort and support more efficient clinical decision-making.
