Use this guidance to install and manage your MESH installation
The Message Exchange for Social Care and Health (MESH) is the main secure large file transfer service used across health and social care organisations. This guide explains how to use the MESH client.
The Message Exchange for Social Care and Health (MESH) client installation guidance explains the installation and configuration of the default MESH client on Windows. We recommend systems suppliers or IT administrators handle the set-up of MESH for each organisation.
This page describes more advanced configuration options for MESH client, as well as further information on elements of the installation process that are not included in the general MESH client installation guidance. This information links closely and in conjunction with the MESH client installation guide.
To authenticate your secure MESH mailbox, you will need to hold a certificate. This page describes which certificate you will need and how to apply for and use one if required.
The endpoint lookup service allows Messaging Exchange for Social Care and Health (MESH) users to identify the name of a MESH mailbox in order to send a MESH message.
