Overview

The Data Security Centre plays an important operational role at a national level, which includes:  security threat monitoring, national incident response, information security consultancy, guidance and advice.   This role extends to cover the cloud.

The Cloud Centre of Excellence works hand-in-hand with the cyber and data security team and our governance boards to develop architectures and working practices for secure and compliant operation of cloud computing, delivered through centrally-funded products and services. The Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) works with the cloud service providers to distil the many potential solutions and products into robust and cost-effective solutions, integrated with our ways of working.
