Care Identity Management release 8.40

Care Identity Management release 8.40 goes live on 10 September 2026, subject to final approval.

This release:

• strengthens the Care ID creation process, to prepare for future Single Sign-On development
• streamlines and simplifies access management in the dentistry self-service access to NCRS and e-RS application

There will be no change to the user interface and we expect there to be no downtime during the release
