NHS Apply for Care ID release 4.2.3

Apply for Care ID released version 4.2.3 on 15 October.

This release includes various enhancements and fixes.

New functionality

• New UI design for IAL uplift

Improvements

• AfCID can now successfully retrieve user details from the new Care Identity Management endpoint as part of the IAL uplift.
• Updated the 'Enter your full name' applicant screen.
• Updated the RA new application screen.
• Updated name labels on the batch upload screen.
• Updated the cancelled email content.

Fixes

• Behaviour tests no longer send emails.
• Fixed an issue where liveness check retries were not working.
• Updated the failed applications CSV export to use the correct headers.
• Corrected pagination on the search applications page.

Errors after the release

There is a small chance that after this release, Apply for Care ID users may see a blank screen or loading error. If this happens, please try these steps:

• force a reload of the page - press Ctrl + F5 (on some computers this can be Fn + F5)
• clear your browser's cache - press Ctrl + Shift + Delete

If you have a Registration Authority Manager or Agent role and you would like to request a new domain to be added, check the CIS allow-list first, and then complete a webform request.
