Series 9 smartcards are no longer being manufactured and we are about to introduce series 10.
We recommend that organisations update to the latest version of Smartcard Connect. For series 10, smartcard management services such as issuing and renewing smartcards will only work with Smartcard Connect, not Identity Agent.
Authentication with series 10 smartcards will still work with Identity Agent, but this is being retired in February 2027.
For printing all smartcard versions with Smartcard Connect v4.1, you will need to make sure you have the latest printer smartcard reader driver.
