National Population Failsafe Management - FHIR API

Use this API to raise and nullify failsafe alerts about children with the National Population Failsafe Management (NPFM) Service.

You can:

• raise a failsafe alert - a notification of action to be taken by the receiving service
• nullify a failsafe alert

These alerts are published or received by the National Events Management Service (NEMS).

This API is retired.

In fact, it never actually went live as the project to deliver it was was cancelled in April 2020.

This API is a FHIR API.

Specifically, it is based on the HL7 FHIR STU3 Messaging Implementation.
