a) counts of finished admission episodes by age group (0-4, 5-11, 12-16) and gender for the years 2004-05 to 2021-22 where there was a i) primary diagnosis and ii) secondary diagnosis of obesity. b) counts of finished admission episodes for the 20 most recorded primary diagnoses where there was a secondary diagnosis of obesity, by primary diagnosis for ages 16 and under in 2021-22. Please note that figures for secondary diagnosis does not include any primary diagnoses. Please be aware that these data should not be described as counts of people as the same person may have been admitted to hospital on more than one occasion within any given time period.
