NHS England has identified a data quality issue for the variable type presenting complaint for provider codes: RV3AR, RV3CH, RV3HC, RV3DG, RV3L8 and RV383 alongside a data quality issue for the variable type gender for provider code: RMY.
We are currently investigating the issue(s) and will provide an update as soon as possible.

Summary
This statistical release is the annual report on the NHS Talking Therapies programme from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026. NHS Talking Therapies is run by the NHS in England and offers NICE-approved therapies for treating people with anxiety or depression.
The publication contains analyses on activity, waiting times and outcomes such as recovery in 2025-26. In addition, the report covers a range of demographic analyses including outcomes for patients of different ages, ethnic group and separately for ex-British Armed Forces personnel.
This report also contains additional analysis for therapy-based outcomes in NHS Talking Therapies services.

The proportion of referrals starting treatment within 6 weeks, mean treatment session, and the recovery rate are based on referrals completing a course of NHS Talking Therapies treatment in the year.
Please note that sub-ICB data is currently not available but will be included in the files below in due course.
