Summary

A measure of the number of adults diagnosed with any type of cancer in a year who are still alive one year after diagnosis.

This indicator attempts to capture the success of the NHS in preventing people from dying once they have been diagnosed with any type of cancer.

As of May 2020, the data for this indicator will be sign-posted. The data tables are published by ONS, the data is available via the resource link below.
