Summary

The number of Clostridium difficile infections reported to Public Health England (PHE), in patients aged two years or older.

This indicator aims to measure the progress in reducing the incidence of avoidable harm, specifically healthcare-associated C. difficile infections.

As of August 2019, please refer to the data tables published by Public Health England (PHE) available via the resource link below.

Within the PHE website navigate to the time period of interest. The data for the indicator is displayed in tab 'monthly_table'. The filters within this tab can be used to select the provider of interest.
