The Dentists’ Working Patterns, Motivation and Morale, 2018/19 and 2019/20 report provides headline information on working patterns, motivation and morale for self-employed primary care dentists in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Results are taken from the biennial Dental Working Patterns Survey.
This methodology document is designed to accompany the Dentists’ Working Patterns, Motivation and Morale, 2018/19 and 2019/20 report and contains more detailed information on the survey sample, population and weighting for each country, how the motivation and morale questions were chosen as well as assumption testing for the multivariate analysis found in the motivation chapters of the main report.
