Prior to March 2018, within the indicator data files data for type 1 and type 2 diabetes were presented as a combined figure. Following guidance from the National Diabetes Audit (NDA) Advisory Group suggesting type 1 and type 2 diabetes are fundamentally different diseases, the data presented within the NDA publications is presented for type 1 and type 2 diabetes separately.
Within a publication navigate to the Resources section at the bottom of the page and select the Excel file titled ‘National Diabetes Audit 2017-18 Short Report, Interactive Report England’.
