Collection and analysis of breast and cosmetic implant information from Northern Ireland healthcare providers request 2020

To enable NHS Digital to collect and analyse Breast and Cosmetic Implant information from Northern Ireland healthcare providers and to add this information to the Breast and Cosmetic Implant Registry already established and operated by NHS Digital.

The information collected and analysed will support improvement in the safety and quality of cosmetic surgery by enabling individuals who have breast implant surgery in Northern Ireland to be traced and contacted in the event of a product recall or other safety concern relating to a specific type of implant.
