Primary care registration and services data 2018

Request from the Director of Primary Care Services for NHS Wales shared services partnership to establish and operate a system for the collection and analysis of primary care registration and services data from relevant organisations.

Purpose

NHS Digital is also requested to provide NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NHSWSSP) with access to the data collected via the spine reporting service. This is necessary or expedient for NWSSP to have for the purpose of exercising its primary care registration management functions under the National Health Service (General Medical Services Contracts) (Wales) Regulations 2004 and the National Health Service (General Medical Services Contracts) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2008.

Section 255(1) section 262(4)(b), 261(5)(d)of the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
