NHS login for the NHS Wales App request 2022
Formal request from NHS Wales for NHS Digital to establish and operate a system for the collection and analysis of information systems as is necessary to provide the existing English NHS login service to residents of Wales that register for an NHS login account in the NHS Wales App.
Purpose
To request NHS Digital to support Digital Health and Care Wales (DCHW) in its statutory duty to deliver digital health services by NHS Digital providing the existing English NHS login service as an authentication and identification method for residents of Wales to access services in the NHS Wales App.
Legal basis
The request is made under section 255(1) of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (the 2012 Act).
