We have detected that you are using Internet Explorer to visit this website. Internet Explorer is now being phased out by Microsoft. As a result, NHS Digital no longer supports any version of Internet Explorer for our web-based products, as it involves considerable extra effort and expense, which cannot be justified from public funds. Some features on this site will not work. You should use a modern browser such as Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. If you have difficulty installing or accessing a different browser, contact your IT support team.
Disproportionate burden assessments
This is a list of the disproportionate burden assessments for digital accessibility conducted for NHS Digital. This means we are not able to create fully accessible versions of these features. The individual assessments will set out our reasons.
Disproportionate burden assessments are required by law for all public sector bodies where we are not able to meet our legal obligation to reach the 'AA' accessibility standard.
Our site contains a large number of PDFs created in previous years, especially in our data and information publications. Where these are no longer being updated, we do not intend to recreate them in accessible versions as this would be a disproportionate burden
