National Immunisation and Vaccination System (NIVS)

This system, provided by Arden & GEM CSU on behalf of NHS England, will be used to record the vaccination details of both patients and health and social care workers within hospital hubs.

The vaccination event data will feed back to GP systems and the National Immunisations Management System (NIMS).

Site details and Point of Care preferences are confirmed via the Regional Vaccination Operations Centres (RVOC) as part of the relevant site assurance process for each delivery model.

Following assurance and confirmation of completion of readiness assessments, NHS Digital will share site information (including site details and nominated IT admin contact details) with NIVS.

NIVS will create administrator and end user accounts.

Administrators will have the rights to create and manage user accounts.
