Syndicate your system with the Terminology Server

You can use a syndication feed to be notified of updates, or to link your own systems to the NHS England Terminology Server.

An Atom feed is used, and an RSS reader can alert you to updated content. Outlook has a built-in RSS reader and provides guidance on configuring it.

Access the location of the main feed, which contains all published content.

Syndication is available to another Ontoserver instance or to a non-Ontoserver solution. The feed itself is openly available without authentication, but copyright-protected content will still require authentication.

While the information below focuses on connecting an Ontoserver instance, it also includes helpful information about the syndication solution.

Two API calls are used to consume content from the syndication feed:
