Patient Flags service

The Patient Flags service records and shares critical safeguarding and accessibility information so it is visible wherever a patient receives care.

About this service

Patient Flags is a national service that records and shares important information about patients, such as safeguarding concerns or accessibility needs.

Flagging makes information easy to see at the point of care, wherever care is provided.

Use Patient Flags when information must follow the patient across organisations or settings, particularly where it is critical for safe, effective or accessible care.
