Creating your Gigabit pathway

1. The Future Connectivity programme will send you draft site list data

2. You will review the site list data with your programme regional lead checking for accuracy and completeness, adding missing UPRNs, sites and existing connectivity (such as lease line connectivity)

3. We will work with you to establish a forecast connectivity demand profile for your sites – incorporating local plans, priorities, constraints and new requirements

1. The programme will analyse your site data against the OFCOM Connected Nation dataset to establish where gigabit infrastructure is already in place (UPRN accuracy will be critical to this)

2. We will work with you to resolve any errors identified (for example site address and UPRN inaccuracies)

3. We will confirm where sites already have the ability to access gigabit capable infrastructure

4. You will keep the programme updated with any changes

1. The programme will analyse your site dataset against criteria for DCMS funding eligibility and intelligence on commercial delivery dates for gigabit infrastructure

2. The programme will identify:

• when gigabit capable connectivity is forecast to be available to each of your sites commercially
• sites that are eligible for DCMS funding

3. We will identify any sites requiring tactical intervention

4. You will keep the programme updated of any changes

1. The programme will detail a pathway for all your sites to achieve gigabit capability when needed

2. The programme will confirm:

• sites that qualify for DCMS funding and next steps
• where capability is/will be available and no investment is required
• sites that are unlikely to have access to gigabit capability in time and require tactical intervention

3. The programme will estimate the total level of investment required for the roadmap

4. We will work together to create the business justification for investment and finalise your gigabit pathway plan

5. The programme will confirm central programme funding available to support local delivery
