How to view COVID-19 vaccinations

Health and care professionals can see a patient's COVID-19 vaccination information in the National Care Records Service (NCRS).

This service will soon be retired. COVID-19 vaccination status will still be available in a patient’s Summary Care Record (Clinical tab) of NCRS.

The National Care Records Service (NCRS) shows a patient’s coronavirus vaccination history. This gives health and care professionals more information about patients, especially if the patient doesn’t have a Summary Care Record with Additional Information or a GP medical record.

This information is available from the ‘Clinical’ panel on the ‘Overview’ tab. When you click into ‘Coronavirus vaccinations’, there is a table that shows:

  • the dose of a vaccination
  • the date of the vaccination
  • the manufacturer of the vaccination
  • whether there were any adverse reactions
  • a link to view more details about the vaccination
