Single Point of Access in the NHS e-Referral Service sessions

A series of e-RS / Single Point of Access (SPoA) webinars have been scheduled to inform the sector how the NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS) will support the delivery of the new elective SPoA

NHS England is working towards the implementation of a Single Point of Access (SPoA) model. As part of their operational readiness for the SPoA model, organisations will need to review their current Directory of Services (DoS) and make preparatory changes for their 10 prioritised specialties.

These webinars will provide an overview of:

  • how e-RS functionality will support elective SPoA pathways
  • considerations for acute trust configuring their DoS for SPoA

The webinars will be delivered for two distinct audiences, with dedicated sessions for NHS acute providers and additional sessions for primary care and other provider organisations. They are intended to raise awareness of the changes in e-RS that will support SPoA implementation and give an opportunity for attendees to ask questions that they may have.

Please note that these are not training sessions. Their purpose is to support readiness and engagement ahead of SPoA implementation.

Participants can review the support information on the SPoA - Outpatient Recovery and Transformation Platform (login required).
