Service definer training session using Microsoft Teams - NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS)

There are currently no upcoming sessions available for this training course.

Session overview

Each session will contain approximately 1 hour 45 minutes of training with opportunities to ask questions. Please note each session covers the same content, so please only book onto one session.

The session is aimed at learners who will be using the service definer role themselves, or wish to gain a better understand of the role.

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

  • use the e-RS directory of services (DOS) to create and amend services
  • understand and implement workgroups to give professional users access to referrals
  • generate e-RS enquiries to understand activity and support provider resource planning
  • recognise the link between directory set-up and referrer service searches

What participants thought of this course

"I have attended the session before and this is a great refresher - I always come away with a much better knowledge and appreciation of the steps providers need to take to define and publish services and feel we can advise them better on including information that would be beneficial to referrers. The examples with the poll slot section are welcome, as this area is always very confusing!"
