API overview

e-RS is a web-based platform. It allows healthcare professionals to refer patients for specialist treatment, manage referrals and provide advice and guidance.

One of the key features of e-RS is its use of an API.

An API allows communication and information to be shared between two systems.

This means that it is possible to access e-RS functionality, or data, within a system that utilises our API without having to use e-RS in a web browser.
