Terminate a contract
About this change
We’ve added the ability to terminate contracts created on the Buying Catalogue. This allows buyers to end contracts themselves once the supplier has been given 30 days’ notice.
Why we did this
Benefits
Allows users to terminate their own contracts and captures information on who authorised the termination. Previously, users had to contact NHS staff to request a termination.
User feedback
Users liked the ability to terminate their own contracts on the Buying Catalogue as it creates an audit trail and removes the dependency on suppliers who do not always respond to termination requests.
