This guidance supports migration between GP clinical system suppliers.
The guide will help practice staff to understand:
- the activities needed to complete a migration
- who would typically perform these activities
- who you should talk to if you encounter issues
- the level of support you should expect
- how to escalate if needed
This guide is not a project plan, as the exact approach will differ by region and practice. Rather, it helps GP practices, integrated care boards and their IT delivery partners to:
- produce a migration plan
- set expectations
- set timescales
