Infrastructure hosting standards for the NHS

This guidance shows the NHS England infrastruture hosting standards. Each standard sets out the importance of meeting the standard, when to meet it, how to meet it and any relevant technical requirements.

All standards should be considered applicable to all NHS organisations and infrastructure hosting environments.

These standards represent ongoing requirements that NHS organisations should self-assess against every year or when you are making major changes to your infrastructure hosting environments. These standards should be part of an organisation’s standard business continuity and risk reviews.
