Measures from the Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework, England - 2016-17

Open data

Summary

The Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework measures how well care and support services achieve the outcomes that matter most to people. The ASCOF is used both locally and nationally to set priorities for care and support, measure progress and strengthen transparency and accountability.

This report focuses on the main findings for each measure in the Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework (ASCOF) in 2016-17. Data are provided at council, regional and national level for each outcome.

17/11/2017: Please note a revised 'Monthly 1F and 1H outcome measures' file has replaced the file originally published on 25/10/2017. Suppression and rounding rules applied to figures for eleven councils were found to be inconsistent with those for the rest of England and have subsequently been changed in order that they align with all other English council data

02/08/2018: A correction has been made to the monthly 1F and 1H outcome measures within this publication. This correction relates to Mental Health statistics, specifically: AMH14 - People aged 18-69 on CPA at the end of the reporting period in settled accommodation (adult mental health services), AMH15 - Proportion of people aged 18-69 on CPA at the end of the reporting period in settled accommodation (adult mental health services), AMH17 - People aged 18-69 on CPA (adult mental health services) at the end of the reporting period in employment and AMH18 - Proportion of people aged 18-69 on CPA (adult mental health services) at the end of the reporting period in employment. This has now been corrected and the monthly 1F and 1H outcome measure file has been reissued. NHS Digital apologises for any inconvenience caused.
