Breast and cosmetic implant registry non mandatory request (NHS Scotland)
Formal request from NHS Scotland for NHS Digital to establish and operate a system for the collection and analysis of information relating to the Breast and Cosmetic Implant Registry for all relevant operative procedures carried out in Scotland by NHS Scotland and the Independent Sector.
Purpose
This information is necessary for the Scottish Government to have in relation to the exercise of their functions or carrying out activities in connection with the provision of health care in Scotland.
Legal basis
The request is made under section 255(1) of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (the 2012 Act).
