The Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF)

The Cyber Assessment Framework is an approach which has been developed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

About the Cyber Assessment Framework

The Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF), developed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), provides a way of assessing the cyber risks to essential functions, looking at how these are managed, and which organisation will be responsible.

There are 4 high level objectives and 14 cyber security principles or outcomes. Each of these outcomes will have a set of indicators of good practice.

Find out more on the NCSC website.
